Conversations for Connection
Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop

Hold Me Tight Workshop

Come spend a weekend to repair, reconnect, and rekindle your relationship!

Hold Me Tight

Would you like a closer relationship with your partner?

Do you ever feel like you and your partner get stuck in a pattern where you:

  • Constantly have the same arguments over and over?
  • Avoid certain topics because it will end in a fight?
  • Feel misunderstood instead of seen and heard?
  • Feel lonely in your relationship?
  • Feel like you are just going through the motions?

You can have a better relationship.

This Hold Me Tight® workshop can help you improve communication, foster understanding, and enhance emotional intimacy.

We all have a fundamental need to feel valued, understood, and loved by our partner. Research shows that ALL couples get disconnected at times, and that there is a reliable road map for reconnection.

In this weekend educational workshop you will:

  • Hear engaging presentations and watch video clips to learn tools for creating and maintaining a life-long connection.
  • Practice in private with your partner the conversations that will bring you closer together.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of your own and your partner’s needs so you can stay engaged and not get derailed.

Due to COVID-19, upcoming HMT workshops have been postponed until further notice.

This is a 2-day non-residential weekend workshop based on the work of Dr. Sue Johnson, the creator of Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and author of Hold Me Tight®.

This is not couples therapy or group therapy. It is an educational workshop which offers a relaxed, non-threatening environment for you to experience a new way of understanding your relationship and connecting with your partner. You and your partner will have opportunities throughout the workshop to try out what you learn in private conversations with each other. Group participation is not required.

This workshop model is not appropriate for couples with active addiction issues, where there is an active affair, or where there is violence or threat of harm.
